Conversation gambits
In der Kommunikationsprüfung dreht sich alles darum ein bestimmtes Thema strukturiert dialogisch mit einem Partner oder monologisch zu präsentieren. Dafür gibt es sprachliche Ausdrücke die hilfreich sind den Eingang in die Unterhaltung zu finden, die Unterhaltung mit einem Partner zu führen und z.B. nach seiner/ihrer Meinung zu fragen, dieser zuzustimmen oder zu wiedersprechen. Darüber hinaus sind diese Ausdrücke hilfreich das Gesagt zusammenzufassen oder etwas Zeit zu verschaffen.
Opening Gambits
Der Einstieg in eine Unterhaltung is oft einer der schwierigsten Teile, da er einen fundamentalen Einfluss darauf hat, wie wir uns im Laufe der Unterhaltung fühlen und ob wir dieses als positiv empfinden oder uns eventuell falsch verstanden fühlen. Diese Sätze können für einen guten Eingang in eine Präsentation oder eine Unterhaltung herangezogen werden:
- Id' like to start talking about... / by looking at... because...
- I’d like to focus on... in our conversation because...
- Let us first focus on... / turn towards...
- I suggest we start at...
- Why don’t we first address….. if this is okay with you?
Engaging your Partner/Agreeing/Disagreeing
- What do you think about...?
- I would be interested to hear what your opinion is on this matter.
- I'm curious about your opinion on this topic.
- What is your point of view?
- I have to admit, I absolutely agree with you on this point.
- You have a point here.
- You are right, it cannot be denied that...

Changing the course of the dialogue
