Dear Pat,
It's great to hear that you are considering posting your music and dance performance videos online. There come both opportunities and risks with such a move, and I'd be happy to share my thoughts on this. Firstly, posting your videos online can give you a wider audience and help you gain more recognition. Social media platforms allow you to reach a global audience, which can be an excellent opportunity for you to showcase your talent and potentially gain more fans.
On the other hand, there are some risks you need to consider. One of the highest risks is that your content may not receive the expected attention or may be overshadowed by similar content. Additionally, posting online means that your content will be available for anyone to see, and there's a possibility that negative comments or criticism can affect your confidence. In my opinion, you should definitely consider posting your videos online as it can be an excellent medium to present your talent and help you reach a wider audience. However, you should also be prepared for negative comments or criticism, and develop a thick skin to avoid losing confidence.
It's important to note that online success doesn't happen overnight, and consistency is key. You should also focus on building a strong brand by consistently posting high-quality content and engaging with your audience. All in all, I believe that posting your videos online is a good move for you, but it's essential to be aware of the risks and work hard to create consistent and engaging content. Best of luck and keep me posted on your progress. All the best,
Stefanie

Digital VS Traditional: Our Changing World
As a young generation, we are living in an era where technology has revolutionized the way we consume media. Since 2011, we have seen a decline in the use of traditional media such as newspapers, television, and radio, while digital media has become increasingly popular. This shift has been steady and continuous until this year how statistics such as the one from Statista have shown. In this article, we will explore the reasons for the contrasting trends in digital and traditional media consumption and discuss their impact on our lives.
Introduction
The declining trend in traditional media since 2011 is due to a variety of reasons. Firstly, the rise of digital media has made it easier for people to access information and personalized content anytime, anywhere. The generational shift is an important factor in the declining consumption of traditional media. Younger generations like us, have grown up with digital media and are more likely to turn to it for daily doses of news, entertainment, and educational content as well which was of essential importance during the pandemic for instance. Even though the trend towards digital media seems to be inevitable, there are also concerns about the impact it could have on society. Digital media have been criticised for promoting misinformation, echo chambers and the spread of hate speech.

In my opinion, the trend towards digital media is both positive and negative. While it offers convenience and personalized content, it also poses significant challenges that must be addressed. It is essential that we continue to promote and support traditional media as a vital source of information and diverse perspectives. At the same time, we must also encourage responsible consumption of digital media and promote media literacy to combat misinformation and echo chambers.
